character

I wanted to go faster, and higher, than any mole has ever gone before!

what’s it all about?

When Happy chats to Mole, he hears a sad tale of regret, ambitions unfulfilled, and chances not taken. You see, Mole always had dreams of being a stunt mole, but general being-a-mole business got in the way. Most importantly, however, Mole never had quite the right glasses… can Duggee and the Squirrels help Mole realise his dream?

This is the episode where:

  1. We learn that Mole holds the record for the most molehills dug in one night (it’s a lot!)
  2. Mole’s idea of a big ramp is not very big at all. Still, you have to start somewhere.
  3. We see what might be the best “sight gag” of the whole series, when Mole puts his new glasses on, and sees Duggee very, VERY clearly!
Isn't it time for...?

Isn’t it time for…?

At the start of the episode, Happy is looking for insects under plant pots in the garden, when he realises it’s time for Squirrel Club.

What did we learn?

  1. Glasses help us to see properly if our eyesight isn’t quite perfect. You have to have the right glasses, however!
  2. Glasses have lots and lots of different frames. If you could design your own glasses frames, what would they look like? Why not draw them?
Well that was fun, wasn't it, Duggee?

Well that was fun, wasn’t it, Duggee?

Duggee, wearing a Stunt Mole T-shirt and cap, gets ready to say goodbye, when Mole crashes into the clubhouse behind him, shouting “Don’t worry! Glasses still on!”
