Great Grandmama: My message to future Snard spotters is… BE QUIET!

what’s it all about?

When Duggee discovers his great-grandmother’s journal whilst avoiding cleaning out the barn, the Squirrels hear all about a mysterious creature called The Snard! The Squirrels set off on an expedition to spot The Snard for themselves – but they’ll have to be very, very, VERY quiet, as Snards are very, very, VERY shy!

This is the episode where:

  1. We learn that Duggee’s Great Grandmama was a famous explorer!.
  2. We also learn that the barn is full to bursting with Duggee’s old things!
isn't it time for...?

isn’t it time for…?

At the start of the episode, Roly is hiding in a bush, watching a bird, when he realises it’s time for Squirrel Club.

What did we learn?

  1. Being quiet is important if we want to look at animals in the wild – they can easily be scared away by loud noises!
  2. Even if we’re not talking, we can still make ourselves understood! Try telling a friend you’re cold, hungry, happy, tired or angry – without making a sound!
Well that was fun, wasn't it, Duggee?

Well that was fun, wasn’t it, Duggee?

Duggee is about to wave goodbye when the Snard pops up from a volcano and makes a lot of noise.
