Buggee Hotel
Please make sure there is an adult with you when making this Buggee Hotel craft!
Things you will need:
- 6 empty, clean tin cans
- a collection of twigs, bits of bark, corrugated cardboard, wood chips, nutshells, string, pine cones, egg box pieces, bamboo canes, stones, hollow stems, and twigs or anything bugs might like
- strong glue
- paint
- paintbrush
Note: Make sure you have a grown up with you to help
Step 1. Paint the outside of the tins in the colours of your choice. You may need to give them 2 coats to cover completely. Leave them to dry.
Step 2. Stick 3 tins together side-by-side. Stick 2 more on top between the joins and finally the last one on top in the centre. This creates a triangle or pyramid shape. Leave them to dry.
Step 3. Now you can start to fill the cans with the twigs and bits that will attract all types of bugs to your Buggee Hotel!
