Come on, Chickens! Get into the Grooooove!

What’s it all about?

Duggee wants to make an omelette for the Squirrels, but an overly-enthusiastic Happy has an accident with the bowl of eggs, meaning they must get some more. Paying the Chickens a visit, Duggee and the Squirrels discover they aren’t laying eggs because they’re too unhealthy – a visit from Hennie the Ostrich might be just the thing they need.

This is the episode where:

  1. The Chickens are addicted to a Spanish-language hospital soap opera. For Chickens.
  2. Hennie gets the Chickens to do aerobics!
  3. The tune Hennie plays on her boombox sounds quite a lot like 1980s classic “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” by Cyndi Lauper. Ask your parents!
Isn’t It Time For…?

Isn’t It Time For…?

At the start of the episode, Tag is playing with a toy train, when he realises it’s time for Squirrel club.

What did we learn?

  1. Getting up and being active is much better for you than sitting around!
  2. Hennie and the chickens dance to music to get fit. Have you ever done this? It’s fun! Why not give it a try?
Well That Was Fun, Wasn’t It, Duggee?

Well That Was Fun, Wasn’t It, Duggee?

The chickens dance past holding Hennie’s boom box, as Duggee laughs.

If you love this one, you’ll most certainly enjoy these episodes:

  1. The Egg Badge
  2. The Train Badge
